Hello! Today I'm going to tell you about some MOOC services!  Let's start with what the MOOC is.   Massive Open Online Courses aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the web. In addition to the traditional course materials, such as filmed lectures, readings, and problem sets, many MOOCs provide interactive user forums to support the community of students and teachers. So, I studied some of the MOOC services and found courses that could be useful and interesting to me! At first canvas ! Here  I found  INTERACTIVE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING , This course is an introduction to foreign language classroom teaching for instructors who wish to create a learning environment in which students feel comfortable interacting with the instructor and their peers. Let's move on to the next resource. This is  edx .  Here  I can learn how to use philosophical ideas to think about ourselves and the world around us, how to think with clarity and rigour, how

Today I want to tell you about the Wiki! You probably heard about Wikipedia... But what about other free services? Wiki have a lot of them, including those for educational purposes. Wiki is a web technology used for collaborative publishing on the web. Users interact with the software through a web interface that lets them read, edit and publish content. Such service as teflpedia can help you if you are a teacher of English. Here you can find information about teaching English as a foreign language or second language. Wikiversity is a project devoted to learning resources, learning projects, and research for use in all levels, types, and styles of education from pre-school to university. If you want to use modern technology in teaching, then Wikiversity is for you. I think this will be a much more interesting experience for students than writing a homework in the copybook :) And for teacher, I think, it is also interesting and convenient!

Hello! Today I want to talk a little about Google services. Not so long ago, Google launched its Google Apps services specifically for educational institutions. This is a familiar set of Google services, but available in the .edu domain. But there are some differences: when creating a school account in Google Apps for Education, users receive additional bonuses such as getting your own mail domain (for example, the name of the school), additional amount of available space inside Gmail and Drive, lack of advertising, the ability to administer all accounts created in the educational domain, and so on. So, let's look in more detail some Google services that can be useful in education. 1). Google documents. This service has a lot of advantages, for example, access to the document for different people with the ability to monitor any changes to the document, leave notes, corrections, use the built-in chat, which is an excellent function for teamwork and for a teacher who can c

Hello! In this post I'm going to tell you about some services to create your bookmarks and about their evolution since 2008. Many years ago ... More precisely, about 10 years ago, active Internet users preferred to use browser bookmarks (they were not nearly as user-friendly as they are now, and users had to install additional software to use bookmarks in the browser) until various online services for link storage appeared. (Such as delicious, evernote, memori.ru, diigo and a lot of others)  The convenience of such online services was obvious. Users had access to links from any computer at any time they needed. Also in some online services, you can create different lists, upload images, make notes, integrate with other services and many other useful things. But I'm going to tell you about such service as the top-page. Here are my bookmarks in this service. I think, it has some advantages, for example, you can create an unlimited number of bookmarks, choose a theme, p
