MALL is Mobile Assisted Language Learning. Mobile learning is overarching trend that embraces all of the other ones. Not the device is essential in mobile learning, but the mobility of the learner that we can learn across different social contexts, across different locations and on the notion of seamless learning. Mobile learning allows to employ different technologies, move from one technology to another.
QR code (Quick Response Code) is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode. A barcode is a machine-readable optical label that contains information about the item to which it is attached. QR code uses four standardized encoding modes (numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary, and kanji) to efficiently store data.
